MOULTONBOROUGH – The crash happened about 7:30 p.m. on Route 25 in the area of Thomas Well. Police said the driver fled the scene of the rollover and was not located despite a subsequent search of the area by police, including Wolfeboro officer James O'Brien and his K-9 partner, Blek.
Police said the vehicle was stolen out of Conway. Both speed and alcohol appear to be contributing factors to the collision, police said.
Route 25 was shut down for about three hours, and then one lane was opened while New Hampshire Cooperative and FairPoint replaced the telephone pole.
The crash remains under investigation.

I hope he is caught quickly too. That was my car he stole. What the article doesn't tell people is that the car was stolen from a garage where it was supposed to be getting repaired. The owner of the garage left car outside, unlocked, with the keys in it.

This story sounds as though the perpetrator is a person without the decency to acknowledge his responsibility for his faulty actions, as well as, having the prevailing "me" and "me first" philosophy. I hope he is eventually held accountable for his "hit and run" accident.
