To the Editor: Pick up any number of items in your house and chances are many will read “Made in China.” It won’t say “by workers displacing American jobs,” yet that is the meaning. Turn on the news and Xi Jinping will be featured standing on the world stage often backed with formidable symbols of military might and threatening to take over the South China Sea, and then us and everyone else.
In New Hampshire, a candidate for Congress in the 2nd District, Lily Tang Williams, was born and educated in China, where she earned a law degree. We need to send her to Congress where she can explain to them what is going on — that China is our rival.
Lily will be a much-appreciated freshman member of Congress. Anyone who follows her on the podium, and I have, will discover that Lily is no one-issue candidate. She is a solid Republican in favor of reducing government, taxes, and control over our lives from the District of Columbia, and from China. She fully understands all these challenging issues and has strong ideas and positions on how to deal with them while representing us.
I can’t name anyone running for Congress with more unique, powerful and necessary qualifications. We should make her our Republican nominee on September 10th and our representative to Congress next fall. Please join me in working for Lily Tang Williams to become a valued and unique New Hampshire voice in Congress.
