A Hooksett man was arrested for driving under the influence Saturday night after causing a three-car crash at the intersection of Mammoth Road and Castle Drive, police said.
Police were called to the scene around 7:23 p.m., according to a news release.
Brian O’Connor, 45, was charged with driving under the influence and reckless operation.
An investigation determined that a 2023 GMC pickup driven by O’Connor crossed into the southbound lane of Mammoth Road and sideswiped a Honda sedan, according to the news release.
“The pickup continued north in the southbound lane where it collided head on with a Toyota RAV4 at the intersection with Castle Drive,” the news release read.
The operator and passenger of the RAV4 were brought to local hospital, while the operator and passenger of the Honda were not injured.
Mammoth Road from Golden Gate Drive to Hale Avenue was shut down for approximately two hours as part of the investigation.
O’Connor was arrested in the hospital and later bailed and released with a court date of May 16 at the 6th Circuit Hooksett District Court.
